ZIG and ZAG (SOLD)

I painted this 24 x 30 acrylic from a photo I took in Florida.  It was the first time I saw zebras in reality, I felt as if I saw unicorns, it was a surreal experience.  Come see it in the show in Tillsonburg

There will be an opening reception for the OCCI Members Show at the Station Arts Centre on Thursday, October 25th from 7 - 9 pm.

The Show will run from October 24th - November 22nd.

UNTITLED acrylic pours

While in Florida this past spring, I had an opportunity to try this trending application of acrylic pouring.  I am very happy with the results but have not decided if they are done yet.  I love the whimsical flow, giving the appearance of the universe or underwater.

HYPNOTIC

SOLD, is my 20X20  acrylic, a reflection of the fall colors in the pond under a clear sky. Having only painted the reflection gives the eye a lot of imagination.  Hypnotic was accepted and sold at the 2018 juried "Paint Ontario" art exhibition, Lambton Heritage Museum

PITCHER TRAP

Pitcher Trap 18x24 acrylic, is my first painting of 2018.  Painting flowers in the dead of this severe winter keeps me encouraged that the days are getting longer and in a few short months the tulips will pop out of the ground.   My painting was selected for the OCCI juried show at the Elmhurst Inn gallery in Ingersoll and will be on display until March 20th 2018.
